Procedure text is a kind of the text that tell how to make or to do something .

- The Generic Sructure

• Title/Goal : It states the goal to be achieved.
• List of materials : It list the materia,s needed . It often gives detail on the size, color, numbers, shapes , quantity, etc .
• List of equipment : It lists the equipments needed. It also often gives detail on the size, color , numbers, shapes, quantity, etc .
• Step/Method/Procedure : Itdescribes steps in logical order to achive the goal .

Example of Procedure Text :

How To Make Instant Noodle

Ingredients

• A cup/pack of instant noodles
• Salt
• Pepper, onions , vegetables
• An egg

Steps

1. Boil the noodles in a pot with water.
2. Once the noodles are cooked, take out the noodles, and take away the water which contains wax.
3. Boil another pot of water and put the noodles into hot boiling water and then turn the heat off.
4. Only at this stage when the heat is off, and while the water is very hot, put the ingredients with the powder into the water, to make noodle soup.
5. Then if you want, you can put pepper, onion, some vegetables and maybe an egg to make your meal healthier and more delicious.

Cup Of Noodles Method

1. Pull back lid to the dotted line.
2. Fill the cup to the inside line with boiling water from a kettle or from the microwave
3. Close lid and let stand for 3 minutes
4. Stir well and add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
