Definition Giving Instruction
Giving instruction is an expression that is used in order that order that other person does what we instruct or request, or giving imperative to other people for to do or not to do something, Giving instruction sometimes called comperative/prohibition.

Giving Instruction statement can use :
  1. When demonstrate a recipe of food or drink
  2. When ask somebody to do something that we want

If you don't use a verb as a commanding word you use be + adjective

  • Be happy
When you forbid someone to do something, you use don't + verb invinitive without to

  • Don't put your trust in him

You often put the words 'please' at the beginning or at the end of an istruction. You use it to make the instruction sound more polite.

  • Please sit down/Sit down, please
  • Please don't go/Don't go, please

Please/don't + verb + noun or Noun + verb + please

Example :
  • Please open the door
  • Open the door please
  • Don't open the door

Please/don't + verb + adverb or verb + adverb + please

Example :
  • Please come here
  • Come here, please
  • Don't come here

Respond on giving instructions :
  • Yes
  • No problem
  • No, I can't
  • O.K.

The example expression of giving instruction :

  • Stand up, please !

Asking for instruction :
